EX-LINCOLN TRACK STAR VYING FOR OLYMPIC SPOT
Former Lincoln HS and current UC Berkeley star shot and discus thrower, Chioma Amaechi, competed in the 2011 World Weightlifting Championships in Paris, finishing 14th in the 75+kg weight class.  The points earned for the USA keeps her in the running for one of two spots on the Olympic team.  Check out this photo of her during the competition.  Congratulations to Chioma, and all the best as she continues her quest to represent our country in London this coming summer!

NEW HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS WEBSITE
Bay Area Sports Stars (BASS) is now on-line with their own website.  This organization headed by local high school sports historian John Spalding, catalogs historical information on high school sports athletes from around the San Francisco Bay Area.  John has provided the San Francisco Section and AAA with a majority of the alumni athlete details listed below.  Check out this link to the BASS website for even more history of our local high school sports heroes!
