COACHING INFO, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
If you are interested in coaching (paid or volunteer), you must contact the Athletic Director for more information. After an interview with the school's athletic administration, a position may be offered; it is upon the potential candidate to complete the HR and Home Campus requirements next.
All SFUSD coaches must complete the HR requirements (application/onboarding, fingerprint background check, and TB test) and the Home Campus registration and certification (First Aid/CPR/AED, Concussion Info, Heat Illness Info, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Info, and NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course) process before they are cleared to coach.

- The purpose of the CIF Coaching Education Program is to enhance the experience of student-athletes by assuring that their coaches meet a minimum level of professional training. The program provides strong, pragmatic, and comprehensive instruction for coaches of interscholastic athletics in California that is consistent with the highest national standards as set by the legislature, state Department of Education, California Interscholastic Federation, and National Federation of State High School Associations.
