WALK-ON COACH CERTIFICATION UPDATE
The State Legislature has passed an amendment to AB1025 exempting school districts that currently use both FBI and DOJ information when conducting background checks on coaches from requiring walk-on coaches to obtain ASC certification from the CTC.  As the SFUSD uses both sources, walk-on coaches employed by the SFUSD do NOT need to obtain the additional certification.  Check this link for complete details.
