ATHLETE CONCUSSION UPDATE
The NFHS and CIF have established new guidelines regarding athlete
concussions and the ability to return to play. Check out these links

information all coaches should understand and abide by when dealing
with concussions and the overall health of their student athletes.
WALK-ON COACH CERTIFICATION UPDATE
The State Legislature has passed an amendment to AB1025 exempting
school districts that currently use both FBI and DOJ information when
conducting background checks on coaches from requiring walk-on coaches to
obtain ASC certification from the CTC. As the SFUSD uses both
sources, walk-on coaches employed by the SFUSD do NOT need to obtain the
additional certification. Check this link for
