2009 ELWOOD
"CHINA" LANG MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
This scholarship honors the late Elwood "China" Lang, former
teacher, coach, and administrator with the SFUSD from 1940-1973.
The SFPHF presents a $2,000 college scholarship to one male and
one female graduating San Francisco high school student athlete. The
criteria encompasses athletics, academics, and citizenship. The 2009 winners are:
Amanda Yee--George Washington
Ronnie Marania--Abraham Lincoln
Congratulations to both Amanda and Ronnie on being top
students, athletes, and contributors to their school and community!
