The CIF San
Francisco Section champions and the CIF Oakland Section Champions
currently compete in postseason tournaments in softball and baseball.
Previous Transbay tournaments were held in football and soccer,
however these have been discontinued. Football ended in 2007
when the CIF began the State Bowl Championship series, and Soccer
ended in 2009 when the OAL decided to move participation from the
fall (boys) and spring (girls) to the winter season.
