UCSF PLAYSAFE SPORTS MEDICINE PROGRAM
UCSF PLAYSAFE SPORTS MEDICINE PROGRAM
UCSF continues its partnership with the SFUSD Athletic Department by providing doctors, athletic trainers, and functioning training rooms at each of the SFUSD high schools that participate in the AAA. Check this link for more information about the

. The PlaySafe program also provides a FREE
cardiac physical program
each May for SFUSD high school athletes. Also, the coordinator of PlaySafe, Dr. Anthony Luke, was honored by the San Francisco Business Times for his dedicated work to make this program successful. Check out this link to

PlaySafe’s Mission & Vision Statements
The mission of the UCSF PlaySafe Sports Medicine Program is to provide a safe and positive environment for athletic pursuits, to facilitate access to the highest quality sports medicine care, and to encourage physical and mental growth by empowering student-athletes to lead balanced, physically active lifestyles.
We believe that every athlete should have access to high-quality healthcare with athletic training services. Through this belief, PlaySafe strives to bring a comprehensive sports medicine approach to every active community within the Bay Area and to be the gold standard of high school outreach programs.
