Every issue will cover what we’re up to, what’s coming next, impactful work from our partners, and top stories from around the wrestling world. Over the coming months, we will be rolling out a series of new products and features designed to make it easier than ever to participate, manage, and watch.  The Fastest, Simplest Way to Score: We are about to make scoring duals a whole lot easier with the launch of the FloWrestling Scorekeeper app in the App Store. No more clunky laptops or paper scorebooks because now you can score right from your iPad or iPhone.

If you’ve ever spent late nights after a dual manually typing results from your paper scorebook into Trackwrestling, this is for you. The app automatically syncs live match results straight into OPC. We built it with guided controls, colorblind accessibility, and precise penalty tracking so you can keep accurate scores without missing any of the action. It’s completely FREE, and if you pair it with our soon-to-be-released FloWrestling Broadcaster app, every point you score will instantly show up as a live graphic overlay on your stream. (I’ll dive deeper into that in the On Deck section below)

 It’s (Amazon) Prime Time: The recent launch of the new FloSports Channel on Amazon Prime Video gives FloWrestling an entirely new avenue to showcase our sport to millions of sports fans.

Throughout the year, a selection of live duals, marquee tournaments, and original programming will stream on the channel, expanding the reach of our partners to Prime Video subscribers in 80 million+ US homes. Wrestling events that stream on the FloSports Channel will now sit directly alongside broadcasts from the NFL and NBA, giving athletes the ability to reach a whole new audience.

 

 Never Miss A Moment: The FloWrestling Event Hub brings every part of a wrestling event together in one intuitive destination. Fans, coaches, parents, and athletes can access live brackets, schedules, results, streams, team pages, athlete profiles, rankings, and more without jumping between multiple websites or apps. Powered by the sport’s most accurate and comprehensive data, we’ve created a faster, more immersive way to experience wrestling from the first whistle to the final hand raise.  Look for the complete feature set to be fully live well ahead of the season.

I also want to clear up some confusion regarding FloWrestling versus Trackwrestling:

• Fans: Find all brackets, live updates, results, and more right on FloWrestling instead of Trackwrestling. Simply go to the Event Hub on Flo for everything you need.
• Event Operators & Season Admins: Keep your exact same workflows. Tournament administration, roster management, weight management, schedules, and result entry stay right on Trackwrestling and the OPC.

Trackwrestling isn’t going anywhere.  We’ve just built the best fan experience in wrestling.

 Broadcast-Quality Streaming in Your Pocket: Streaming a dual is about to get easier than ever with the release of the FREE FloWrestling Broadcaster app. This new product launch lets coaches and programs turn an iPhone or iPad into a professional grade production setup. Just place your mobile device on a tripod and aim it at the mat. The app automatically tracks the action, follows wrestlers, and syncs with FloWrestling Scorekeeper app to display real-time scores and overlays. It is a simple, low lift workflow that gives programs maximum exposure while giving families and fans high definition video from anywhere. Stay tuned for more details.

 September Showdowns: September is packed with awesome wrestling on Flo. Who’s Number One returns Sept. 26 live from Gallagher-Iba Arena on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater to crown the top high school wrestlers in the country. Also, the remaining three Final X wrestle-offs will take place on Sept. 25 in Columbus, OH. This features high profile clashes including Real Woods vs. Bo Bassett at 65kg, Kennedy Blades vs. Bella Mir at 68kg, and Kylie Welker vs. Dymond Guilford at 76kg with U.S. World Team spots on the line. You will not want to miss these, so catch them all live on FloWrestling and our FloSports Channel on Prime.

 

I may be slightly biased (wink wink), but I firmly believe the FloWrestling content team covers the sport better than anyone in the world. No matter what level of wrestling you follow, everything you need is right at your fingertips across our site and social channels. Each month, I’ll use this section to share a few pieces I find especially interesting.

A perfect place to start is with Team USA’s dominant performance at the U20 World Championships in Slovakia. The men’s freestyle squad had a historic run, putting all 10 wrestlers on the podium and capturing their third consecutive team title in runaway fashion.
