AAA/OAL TRANSBAY SERIES HISTORY
For many years, the CIF San Francisco Section champions and the CIF Oakland Section Champions competed in postseason tournaments in Baseball, Football, Soccer, and Softball. Baseball and Softball ended in 2020 when the CIF began regional championships in both sports; Football ended in 2007 when the CIF began the State Bowl Championship series; and Soccer ended in 2009 when the OAL decided to move participation from the fall (boys) and spring (girls) to the winter season.
